Tried to update my dashboard and now I’m getting HTTP ERROR 500

I updated the dashboard to the latest version and it said my dashboard would be temporarily unavailable while it was doing the updates. It’s now been over an hour and every time I try to log into my dashboard I get a “This page is currently not working. HTTP ERROR 500: currently unable to handle this request.”
Is it still downloading the update or is something wrong? My live site is still up and running.
