The latest Elementor update has caused massive problems for my site, and I fear I’ve made it worse. On Monday after updating the plugin, my site immediately crashed and I was unable to even access WordPress dashboard. I then removed the plugin via FTP (I realise now I should have just disabled it not deleted it – that’s my big mistake!) as such we have lost all our format on our website 
I was then able to get back into the dashboard after removing it, however as soon as I try to re-download Elementor, I get this message, and we are back to square one, unable to access dashboard.

HTTP ERROR 500
Do you know why this is happening to our site? Its so frustrating as I spent months building the website with Elementor and had no problems at all, it was only when I updated the plugin on Monday that this all started happening?
I fear having to restart and build the website again from scratch with another plugin – any guidance would be welcome.
